Here are 4 factors that will help you to determine when your hair will either break or simply fall out:

  1. We are genetically pre-programmed to grow our hair to a certain length.
  2. Your lifestyle and health can affect your hair length.
  3. How long you hair will grow is determined by one’s anagen phase ( See article below: 3 Stages of Hair Growth for details), which although you will see in most European journals as two to six years. For those with Afro Type hair your hair growth could be for as little as a few months. This is experienced by people whose hair only grows minimally and then stops.
